D.J. Hot Rod hails out of the city of Newark New Jersey Is an avid music lover with the passion and desire to reach as many listeners as possible. His journey began In 1982 with playing for special functions for family and friends but it was in high school where he met D.J. Dave Davis and with friends they participated in a dance group and set stage at the "Ritz Theater" in Elizabeth for a talent show cast . That experience motivated him to expand towards a larger crowd by recording mix tapes for purchase within the city.

 A few years later he was fortunate to be given the opportunity to team up as a rotating Dj at "Cosmos" in Irvington N.j. This helped him to developed a better understanding of the night club atmosphere. Subsequently he joined forces with again with D.J. Dave Davis to start a DJ service company, Under D.J. Dave guidance he was able to fine tune the beat matching techniques.

While working security at "Club Bogies" in East Orange opportunity presented itself again and he held the position of resident DJ for 3 years when club music was at its peak and an array of various industry artist performances. Later he accepted the platform of providing Dj service for the premiere social networking event "First Friday NJ".

Other venues D.J. Hot Rod has pressed the play button at countless venues as a guess such as Sir Richards, Cheetah Club, Club 88, C.I.C Nightclub, Ruthies Supper Club, Hilton Gateway, Ash Lounge, B Hathaway's, 43rd St Cafe, Tremount Lounge, The House, The Rich Place, Coffee Cave, Idea Restaurant & bar, Club Elevations, 303 Lounge and part of the "Headliners" party event providers (Dj Dana Damixx, Lionel Burton).
